Cymbiotika’s Organic Ceremonial Matcha is a fusion of heirloom varietals that brings forth an invigorating effect and a smooth, delicious flavour. Our matcha draws on multi-generational, small family farms in Uji and Kagoshima, Japan. Kagoshima is known for producing Japan’s finest organic matcha, where the rich volcanic soils of this southern region of Japan imbue a nuanced flavour not possible to achieve in other soils. Our organic ceremonial matcha is from the first harvest tea leaves, and only the top leaves of each plant are processed in small batches by our national award-winning tea master. A few weeks before harvest, the tea fields are shaded to reduce the production of tannins, preserve the rich chlorophyll content, and increase the l-theanine and caffeine content. Our matcha is 100% stone-ground and patiently and diligently crafted, providing you with superior quality and an exceptional experience.
Add ½ tsp (1g) of matcha powder into a cup or ceremonial tea bowl.
Pour 1-2 ounces of hot water, mix with a bamboo whisk, and blend until smooth.
Slowly add an additional 4-6 ounces of hot water, depending on the preferred strength.
If using a blender or electric whisk, combine ½ tsp (1g) of matcha powder to 6-8 ounces of water.
Blend and enjoy!

I'm an avid matcha lover and I've tried some great and not so good ones. It's great that Cymbiotika subscription let me try their matcha out. I must admit the quality is quite good. The taste is vibrant, and slightly bitter, which is good, with notes of sweetness. Recommend trying it and decide for yourself.
